Four Alls in Welford-on-Avon Invites Locals to Remember, Remember the 3rd November with Charity Bonfire Night & Firework Display

Once again, the Avon-side Four Alls pub on Binton Bridge in Welford-on-Avon, will be hosting a Bonfire Night on Saturday 3rd November, together with a professional Fireworks Display which they hope will raise generous funds for local charity Parenting Project.

The historic pub, which overlooks the River Avon, re-opened in June this year after a substantial redesign and restoration project. Claudia Reiter, the General Manager, said: “We want this to become an annual event for friends, families and locals, not only to help a local charity, but also to provide a safe place for children to watch the Fireworks.”

The free event will include a complimentary welcome mulled prosecco, mulled apple juice and popcorn and live music after the rockets have all gone off. Head Chef, Luke Chetwynd, is also cooking up ‘Big’ and ‘Little’ Bonfire Specials to suit all ages which will include traditional favourites such as Hot Dogs, Burgers and BBQ ‘Beef Drip’ Club Sandwiches. These will all be served in environmentally-friendly boxes to eat around the fire.

Four Alls’ chef, Alexandru Lupascu, with charity bonfire specials, Home-Glazed Toffee Apples and Chocolate & Hazelnut Coated Banana on a Stick.

The bonfire will be lit at 5:00pm with the Fireworks at 6:30pm. But for families looking for some earlier entertainment with the kids, from 3:00pm there will be activity packs, the chance to help make some ‘Guys’, colouring competitions for the best mask – and best fireworks pictures which will be exhibited in the pub afterwards. Every child will take home a Goody Bag at the end of the evening with some home-made cookies and other treats.

Claudia explained how funds will be raised for this worthwhile local cause: “We’re asking everyone who comes to help up us raise as much as possible for Parenting Project and to give a little bit more than a ‘Penny for the Guy’. As well as a bucket collection, all the staff are donating their tips for the day and we’re giving the proceeds from the sale of our special Toffee Apples and Chocolate & Hazelnut coated Bananas on a Stick.”

Elaine Johnston, Parenting Project’s CEO, said: “How wonderful for the Parenting Project to be the nominated charity for this fabulous event. I hope that it’s a great success for the Four Alls and the local community.”
